Q & A

Do you travel?

Yes. 502 Photography travels on a regular basis for photography jobs. While most weddings take place in the Louisville and surrounding areas, 502 photography is available to travel. There is no charge for travel within 60 miles of Louisville. Special discounted travel expenses apply to the city of Philadelphia.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes. 502 Photography is available to fly anywhere in the world.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes. I have backup equipment to cover all my bases. I've never needed to use it, but none the less, it's there in the event of an emergency.

What sort of album do you offer?

502 Photography works with the Renaissance line of Coffee Book albums. This is the most professional end result in wedding albums. Each album is custom designed by 502 Photography and sent to the client for approval prior to sending off to be printed and bound. Options concerning the album cover (color, material, etc.) are left to the client to decide. After viewing one of these albums, you'll not want anything else to store your wedding memories forever.

What comes on the DVD that you include? Can I have black and white prints as well as color?

Yes. Each DVD comes with 2 folders on it. The first folder is named “Color”. The second folder is named “B&W”. Inside of these folders are the same exact photographs, with the exception of them being color or b&w. Each file is cropped, color/contrast corrected and completely cleaned up and ready for print.

What style of photography do you shoot?

The best answer to this question can be found by viewing 502 Photography's portfolio. The most important part of the day is that your story be documented through photography. The best approach to this is finding a balance through out the day. This includes a photojournalistic approach in the areas of artistic/fashion shots, candids & formals. A photographer should be the shadow of the bride on her wedding day.

How do I secure my wedding date?

Wedding dates are secured on a first come, first served basis. The first couple to submit a wedding contract along with a deposit of 1/3rd secures the date.

After sending in the retainer and signed contract, 502 Photography will review it and sign it (assuming there's no questions) and immediately send you a copy of the contract fully signed. This is the only way to secure your wedding date.

What is the slideshow at the reception about?

Great question. This feature is truly something that largely separates 502 Photography from other wedding photographers. A slideshow, featuring a select few (25-40) will be played during your reception. That's right. Same photographs 502 Photography shot just a few moments ago will be cleaned up and displayed on a large screen for you and your guests to view. An elegant screen and projector will already be set up. The slideshow will be rear projected in order to maintain a clean presentation that won't jeopardize the formal setting of the reception. This is a great way for you and your guests to immediately get the satisfaction of a hard days work.

Do you bring an assistant?

Yes and No. When an assistant is needed, 502 Photography will definitely choose to bring along one of the pre-qualified workers. The times that an assistant may be needed is screen/projector setup and breakdown, large groups, etc. The decision of the need of an assistant is 502 Photograhy's decision.
